This kitchen remodel was for a growing family who dreamed of a walk-in pantry, a large island, and an open-concept space. Removing the walls dividing up the kitchen and relocating all the appliances to one side opened up enough space for added storage and a floorplan with better flow. Badly damaged slate flooring was creating an unsafe environment, especially for the kids. Beautiful hardwood flooring that matched the floors in the adjacent rooms was laced in, seamlessly connecting the kitchen to the dining area and living room for the open concept vision the homeowners hoped for.
